Bucs blow out the Eagles in a home playoff win…

Baker Mayfeild has himself a day…

This was a game that most saw coming but I have to admit I wasn't one of them. Dating back to the loss to the 49ers I spent the rest of the season waiting for the eagles to turn it around and start to become the Eagles of last year. That wouldn't happen as the Eagles backed their way into the playoffs and were blown out by the Buccaneers who surprisingly went 11-6 and won their division this season. They came in and dismantled Philly in a game that was never in doubt for Tampa. We will see if they can pull it off again as they have to travel to Detroit and take on the Lions who have been just as surprising this year…

What's next for the Eagles and QB Jalen Hurts…

This offseason is going to be a rough one because it could be everyone but the head coach on the coaching staff, could be on their way to finding new jobs. Siriani should be on the hot seat as well but I don't believe he will lose his job. He's a solid coach and will be returning most of the same players from the super bowl run and this year's 10-1 start so I expect that the Eagles will be better last year than they were to finish up this season. The only possible loss that worries me for the defense is the possibility of losing Hassan Reddick who has been a premiere pass rusher for them in recent years.  Other than that they are young and have plenty of room to grow moving forward.

Final Thoughts…

The Bucs are a team that no one saw coming they figured they would win a winnable division and be walked out in round 1. Well that was not the case as the Buc walked out of Raymond James stadium the victors and now wait for their next test which is the NFC North division champion Lions in Detroit.
