This
past weekend the AFC and NFC Championship games took place and let me say there
was only one surprise victory this weekend and it was Tom Brady and the Tampa
Bay Buccaneers who dominated the NFC’s #1 seed Green Bay Packers in Lambeau field
to advance to Super Bowl 55. In the AFC it was business as usual as the Chiefs and
QB Patrick Mahomes looked early on as if the Bills were going to give them
fits. In the end they dominated Buffalo and confused Josh Allen to the point where
he finally looked like a young QB. But both losses by 2 amazing QB’s in Rodgers
and Allen give us the SB we always wanted, the current best in the game and the
incumbent to that throne…
Super Bowl 55 (5)
Tampa Bay Buccaneers (14-5) at (1) Kansas City Chiefs (16-2)
This years Super
Bowl is one that is for the ages… Let us start with the fact that for the first
time in the history of the Super Bowl (55 yrs) the team that is hosting the big
game is also playing in the game. The Bucs will be playing for a super bowl in
their home stadium (Raymond James Stadium in Florida), and that right there is
history. Then you have Brady who played in and won a Super Bowl playing in the
AFC, he will be looking to repeat the feat with his new NFC teammates in Tampa
Bay. He will be looking to do it against the young stud who took the title and
ran him out of the AFC QB Patrick Mahomes. This Chiefs team is as good if not
better than the Super Bowl Champs of last year and it has shown all season.
Both teams come in with strong defenses and high powered offenses so that’s why
I see a shoot out with the potential G.O.A.T coming out on top for his 7th
Super Bowl title in 10 tries…
Prediction: Tampa
Bay Buccaneers 35-28
