NFC Divisional Round

49ers dominate Vikings in 27-10 win – This was a match up that was thought to be one of the most balanced match-ups of the playoffs this year. What is turned out to be was a situation where the Vikings looked over matched, especially in the second half. This game was about the 49ers defense as they held the Vikings to under 150 total yards and held pro-bowl running back Dalvin Cook to under 30 yards on the ground. Every starter on the 49ers D-Line (Ford, Armstead, Buckner and Bosa) got a sack with DROY candidate Nick Bosa getting 2 and the defense taking center stage the 49ers are on to the NFC Championship game…

AFC Divisional Round

Titans stun the Ravens with a 28-12 win – I will tell you this I never saw this one coming; the Ravens came in as the better team on paper but not as the hotter team. That honor goes to the Titans who once again rode a 180yrd performance to drop the second top seed (they beat the 3 seed Patriots last week in Foxborough) these playoffs. They have proved that they are a team to be taken seriously as they not only beat the Ravens, they shut down the entire offense with an exception for star QB Jackson who they kept out of the end zone till it was too late. Bravo to the Titans for their tremendous run we will see if they can maintain it in the AFC Championship game…

AFC Divisional Round

Chiefs beat Texans 51-31 in epic comeback – The Texans opened this game still riding high off their victory over the Bills last week, it showed as they jumped on the Chiefs for a 24-0 lead midway through the 2nd quarter. Then that’s when KC woke up and decided to play their brand of football and there was nothing the Texans could do about it. Mahomes becomes the only the 2nd QB to throw 4 TD’s in one quarter as he put on a show for the fans, the Texans were outscored 51-7 after building the big lead. This match up shows how dangerous the Chiefs can be at any moment as I just like everyone else thought they were dead in the water, now we will be talking about if the Titans can pull of another road upset next week in KC…

NFC Divisional Round

Packers beat Seahawks 28-23 to advance to the NFC Champ – This game started out looking like a blow out as the Packers jumped out to an early lead in the first half. The Seahawks managed t make it a game late by holding Aaron Jones on the ground and adjusting their defensive game plan to slow down Rodgers. This led to a stale mate in the second half after the Seahawks scored their final touchdown. Overall a great game and set up the matchup we all wanted to see the 49ers and Packers playing for a trip to the Super Bowl…
