Giants at the All-Star Break were out of the Wild Card Race

The Giants have been quite the anomaly this season at times they have looked like one of the best teams in baseball (like their current winning streak), and at times they have looked like one of the worst teams in baseball. This has been due to many reasons, but the top 2 reasons have been their starting pitching and the offense, the pitching is where we will start. Led by former World Series MVP the Mad Bum Madison Bumgardner they have a strong rotation they just haven’t lived up to expectations. The bullpen as well has been quite underwhelming as they have blown several leads when its been turned over to them, being that at the ASB the team had 0 quality starts out of its starting pitching staff. The hitting has been inconsistent as well as they have seen multiple 10+ run games but just as many games in which they scored 1 run or less. Will this season lead to postseason success as in previous years or will they fall just short of the postseason and look to next year as they year they will take the next step in the plan? So, here is to the next half of the season as the Giants look to get back to their winning ways and back to the postseason for the 1st time since 2014.
