2019 NFL Draft
The 1st Round (The Rest)
Introduction
This is literally the night that kids dreams come true, young men at colleges all around the country wait to see if their name os going to be called to play in the league. Every team from the 49ers to the Raiders to the Cardinals all have immediate needs so who can fill the holes they need to right away? Let's take a look at the rest of the 1st Round outside of the Top10
Round 1 Pick 11 - Cincinnati Bengals - OT Jonah Williams - Alabama Crimson Tide
Round 1 Pick 12 - Green Bay Packers - DE Rashan Gary - Michigan Wolverines
Round 1 Pick 13 - Miami Dolphins - DT Christian Wilkins - Clemson Tigers
Round 1 Pick 14 - Atlanta Falcons - OG Chris Lindstrom - Boston College Golden Eagle
Round 1 Pick 15 - Washington Redskins - QB Dwayne Haskins - Ohio State Buckeyes -
This here is a fit made in heaven, Haskins is not only one of the most talented QB’s in this year's draft. He literally falls to Redskins who had been salivating over him as a potential air apparent to either Case Keenem next year, or Alex Smith if he ever returns to the line up. Great catch by the Washington team….
Round 1 Pick 16 - Carolina Panthers - OLB Brian Burns - Florida State Seminoles
Round 1 Pick 17 - New York Giants (2) - DT Dexter Lawrence - Clemson Tigers
Round 1 Pick 18 - Minnesota Vikings - C Garrett Bradbury - North Carolina State Wolfpack
Round 1 Pick 19 - Tennessee Titans - DT Jeffery Simmons - Mississippi State Bulldogs
Round 1 Pick 20 - Pittsburgh Steelers - Traded to the Denver Broncos - TE Noah Fant - Iowa Hawkeyes -
Another one of those amazing Tight Ends from the new Tight End U in Iowa. Fant is a big bodied beast of tight end with good speed that should thrive with Joe Flacco throwing him the ball the next few years...
Round 1 Pick 21 - Seattle Seahawks - Traded to Packers - S Darnell Savage Jr. - Maryland Terrapins
Round 1 Pick 22 - Baltimore Ravens - Traded to the Eagles - OT Andre Dillard - Washington State Cougars
Round 1 Pick 23 - Houston Texans - OT Tytus Howard - Alabama State
Round 1 Pick 24 - Oakland Raiders (Chicago Bears trade) - RB Josh Jacobs - Alabama Crimson Tide
Round 1 Pick 25 - Philadelphia Eagles - Traded to Ravens - WR Marquise Brown - Oklahoma Sooners -
A kid that is everything you could want in a receiver is something that the Ravens have needed for a long time. I want to say they haven't had a true number one since Steve Smith Sr. I believe they have found their guy in Brown (Who is cousins with Raiders wideout Antonio Brown) a speedy receiver who can catch the ball. Lamar Jackson should have lots of fun playing with this kid moving forward.
Round 1 Pick 26 - Indianapolis Colts - Traded to Washington - DE Montez Sweat - Mississippi State Bulldogs
Round 1 Pick 27 - Oakland Raiders (Dallas Cowboys Trade) - S Johnathan Abrams - Mississippi State Bulldogs
Round 1 Pick 28 - Los Angeles Chargers - DT Jerry Tillery - Notre Dame Fighting Irish
Round 1 Pick 29 - Seattle Seahawks (Kansas City Trade) - DE LJ Collier - TCU Hornfrogs
Round 1 Pick 30 - Green Bay Packers (2) - Traded to Seahawks - Traded to Giants - CB Deandre Baker - Georgia Bulldogs
This pick made its rounds first being traded to the Packers before the draft. Then on draft day to the Seahawks and finally landing as the 3rd 1ast round pick of the New York Giants. They selected themselves a defensive back to help soften the blow of the loss of Eli Apple and Landon Collins over the past couple of offseasons. The kid is highly rated and had a great combine. So hopefully he will work out.
