Double K's Take: NFL Season Preview (Pt.3 NFC East)

Part 3 NFC East

DALLAS COWBOYS (Predicted Finish: 11-5 Division Winners): The Cowboys were the surprise team of 2016 and rightfully so as they went from being the old reliably mediocre Cowboys. To the kick ass Boys of the 80’s with that swagger and flare reminiscent of Irving, Aikman and the boys. Alas they could not win a game in the playoffs and once again sat at home nd watched the Falcons compete for a Super Bowl. This year they will win the division again its just a matter of will they do anything in the playoffs…

PHILIDELPHIA EAGLES (Predicted Finish: 10-6 Possible Wild Card): The Eagles are another enigma as far as how this season will pan out. They have the talent with young QB Carson Wentz paired up with Alshon Jeffery and Torrey Smith, on the defensive side of the ball they have a few young up and comers. So could this be a 10 win season?? Oh yeah it could be but it could also be a 8 win season if they get hit with a injury or 2 this season…

NEW YORK GIANTS (Predicted Finish: 9-7 No Playoffs): The Giants are another good team that I just don’t think will live up to the hype this season. They didn’t really add much in free agency or the draft, so I don’t really see how they got much better. So a similar record to last year is a good thing as they continue to get adjusted to the new regime. But when you have a QB like Eli Manning at the helm anything is truly possible for this team, but this year I only see 9 wins in the books for them…

WASHINGTON REDSKINS (Predicted Finish: 8-8 No Playoffs): This team lost a lot this offseason as both of their top receivers left the team (Garcon (SF) and Jackson (TB)) and so did their back up tight end (Paulson (SF)) who performed well last season so all they really bring back is a good team led by Kirk Cousins and the hopes that they can perform at a high level with what they have. I don’t think they will but hey anything is possible…
