Part 2 AFC West

OAKLAND RAIDERS (Predicted Finish: 11-5 Division Winners): The Raiders were a really good team last year, I mean a lot better
than they have been in previous years. They finished 12-4 and tied for the
division lead with the Chiefs. This year I think they will be even better after
adding RB Marshawn Lynch and learning how to play as a even more cohesive unit.
Now they do need to continue to get better on defense but I see a great season ahead
despite the 11-5 record this season…
KANSAS CITY CHIEFS (Predicted Finish: 10-6 Possible Wild Card): The
Chiefs once again return one of the best defenses in all of football. This makes
them a scary team, but not as scary as previous years because Alex Smith doesn’t
have the deep threat weapon in Jeremy Maclin that he had in previous years. They
as well let go of long time Chief Jamal Charles as well, they have what they think
are suitable replacements but only time will tell on that. For now I will give them
10 wins….
LOS ANGELES CHARGERS (Predicted Finish: 8-8 No Playoffs): The Chargers
are a squad that are likely to finish exactly where I have them at 8-8, but could
also blow my numbers out the water and finish with 10 or more wins. They have tons
of talent on both sides of the ball and the talent they have is young. The reason
why I have them at .500 is because they have a new system and a new head coach
so they will have to adjust to that before they will be playoff ready. This will
be a learning year…
DENVER BRONCOS (Predicted Finish: 7-9 No Playoffs): The Broncos will
be a good squad this year I just don’t think they will have enough cohesiveness
to put them over the top this year. The defense will be good you cant be lead by
Von Miller and Aqib Talib and not be a solid defense. But with Trevor Semien and
a new head coach this team will struggle early and at the end of the day the Broncos
will finish with about 7 wins this year and will be another year better…
