Oakland Athletics (38-51, 4th in AL West, 13GB for 2nd WC Spot, 17HM, 21AWY)
My Take: The Athletics are pretty much a laughing stock of the MLB, Now that's a pity because they have a lot of talent on this team. When you look at the offense Semien, Davis, Valencia are all having great years. The pitching staff was supposed to be led by young arm Sonny Gray (who is having the worst season of his career) instead is lead by Rich Hill who leads the team in wins (9) and strikeouts (50). They lost out on Henderson Alvarez due to a setback with his injury. At the end of the day this team will probably finish next to or dead last in the division at the end of the season. As a lifelong A’s fan i hope they prove me wrong...
