Double K's MLB Season Wrap Up 2015: Seattle Mariners...

Seattle Mariners (76-86, 4th Place in the AL West, No Postseason)...

The Mariners were a team that came into last season as a true contender for the post season. They had acquired a couple of pitchers to solidify their staff and they still had one of the best in baseball in Felix Hernandez. None of this seemed to matter as they came out the gates hot and cooled off quick. By the All Star break they were starting to begin their downfall. After the break it was just a disaster as they couldn't seem to string together a stretch of wins and it caused them to fade out of the wild card picture and finish just out of the cellar in the AL West…

This year the Mariners return most of their team from last season that underachieved, but that will probably work in their favor for lst year. They know what they are at their worst so they can only go up from here. They return their ace Hernandez and due to a failed physical they kept Iwakasha. So can the Mariners contend in a tough AL West??? I think they can and that they will but i think once again they will fall short and have no postseason to show for such a talented team...
