12:00pm (AFC Champ) New England Patriots (13-4) @ Denver Broncos (13-4)(Final Score: Broncos win 20-18)...
My Take: The Patriots came in as the clear favorites, after the regular season that Payton Manning had and the one Bready had even i thought that it was a lock. I was wrong, the Broncos defense came out and terrorized the Patriots offense and made Tom Brady make a bunch of bad decisions. In the end the Broncos defense won them a close game by getting a INT on a 2 point conversion try with12 seconds left. This game was another classic in the Manning/Brady rivalry and one that Manning is happy to have won. Now they get 2 weeks to prepare for whoever is coming in the Super Bowl!!...
3:40pm (NFC Champ) Arizona Cardinals (14-3) @ Carolina Panthers (16-1)(Final Score: Panthers win 49-15)...
My Take: The Panthers pretty much dominated this match from beginning to end. the Panthers defense just embarrassed Carson Palmer and the Cardinals offense enrout to a blowout victory. The Panthers on the other hand looked like a team poised to win a title and they will attempt to do that in 2 weeks at Super Bowl 50 in Santa Clara. This won't be an easy task as the Broncos defense is for real and they do still have a QB by the name of Peyton Manning. Till then these are all questions, that will be answered in 2 weeks....
