WCB Last Week in Basketball Review: Warriors, Kings, Lakers, Clippers...

Golden State Warriors…(42-4)(v IND, v SAS, v DAL): The Warriors have extended their streak to 5 straight wins. They also made a bold statement during this week, that was the Warriors are the best team in thee NBA. At first everyone thought it would be the Cav’s or Bulls...66 pts later and a season sweep of both teams showed that wasn't the case. Then all the talk was about the Spurs and how the Warriors needed to watch out because the Spurs were really the team to beat. Well the Dubs throttled them by 30 in Oakland the 1st of 4 match-ups this season...

Sacramento Kings…(20-25)(v ATL, v IND, v CHA, @ POR): The Kings are in the middle of a 2 game slide with back to back losses to the Hornets and the Blazers. But that only puts a small bump in the road for the Kings as they keep rolling toward a potential playoff spot against either the Spurs or the Warriors. this is a team that is still coming together so lets keep an eye on them...

Los Angeles Lakers…(9-38)(v SAS, @ POR, v DAL):  The Lakers continue to be a pathetic team that is cruising thru the season on Auto pilot. The Kobe retirement train is on a roll as he is only playing selected dates  throughout the season. The youth is starting to get critical playing time and Kobe is on his way to the All Star game and ready to ride off into the Sunset...

Los Angeles Clippers…(30-16)(@ CLE, @ NYK, @ TOR, @ IND, @ ATL): The Clippers were the only team this week to be set up with 5 games. They finished the week 3-2 and got hit with some brutal news as Blake Griffin is out for up to another 2 months after getting into a fist fight with the equipment manager. The thing about it is that they seem to be better without him leading to talks of a trade in the offseason...
