Double K’s MLB Season Wrap Up 2015: San Francisco Giants...

San Francisco Giants (84-78, 2nd Place in NL West, No Post Season)...

The Giants were riding high coming into the 2015 season, they had just won the World Series title over the Kansas City Royals and were the reigning champs. Their pitching staff looked to be aced by Madison Bumgarner and having a returning Matt Cain adn Tim Lincicum. They looked like early favorites to get back to the series and win another one. As the season started out it looked as if the Giants were going to complete this feat that seemed unreachable as they have not won back to back titles in any of their runs (2010, 2012, 2014). As the season went on the Giants suffered a couple of devastating injuries that really set them into a spiral that they couldn't dig themselves out, finishing in 2nd in their division and just outside of a Wild Card spot…

This season the Giants have gone out and added some outstanding talents in jeff Samardzija and Denard Span who should help add some pop to the line up. The Giants will once again be contenders for the crown of World Champion. They seem to do well in even numbered years and it is just that (2016), the only thing that could stop them would be catastrophic injury. the only other difficult part will be the fact that the other teams in their division have gotten better and they were all pretty good last year. So the one thing i will want to see is how the NL West plays out and cant the Giants do it again...
