WCB Last Week in Basketball Review: Warriors, Kings, Lakers, Clippers...

Happy New Years Eve

Golden State Warriors…(29-2)(v. CLE, v. SAC, @DAL): The Warriors proved with wins over the Cavaliers and Kings that they would have easily had the Lakers record if not for the damn Milwaukee Bucks. But i digress after winning 5 straight games the Warriors succumbed to the Steph Curry Injury bug and lost to the Mavericks in Dallas but still hold a NBA Best Record of 29-2...

Sacramento Kings…(12-20)(v. POR, @ GSW, v. PHI): The Kings are a team on the rise with a young squad that can impress you against any team that they have on the floor. The Kings looked impressive against the Warriors and Portland. then came up short against a hapless 76ers team. In the end they didn't win a game during this stretch and now look to turn it around and get back in the postseason hunt...

Los Angeles Lakers…(6-27)(v. LAC, @ MEM, @ CHA, @ BOS): The Lakers are making Kobe's final season one of the funnest rides that a man can go on. Every Eastern Conference game they have played away Kobe has been honored and given a gift. Most recently they went into Boston where the Celtics gave him a piece of the floor. This will be how it is coming down the stretch as the Lakers will be irrelevant but the hype surrounding them will not…

Los Angeles Clippers…(20-13)(@ LAL, @ UTA, @ WAS, @ CHA): The Clippers were on fire this week as they swept all 4 teams that they faced. they still stand almost 10 games out of the Warriors. Chris Paul and company seem to be rounding out and looking like a team that will challenge a team like the Spurs or the Warriors. they will have to keep winning to keep pace with the Warriors...
