Last year was a close battle for the coveted NBA MVP trophy. There were 2 camps those that felt that James Harden had a more impressive resume because of all of the injuries that his team had survived and still managed to be a 2 seed in the playoffs. Others were in the Steph Curry camp as the young star lead the Warriors to their 1st title in almost 40 years (1975) . Both camps had their valid points but in the end Curry had too good of a season and won the MVP almost running away…
This year things are a little more clear cut as the Baby Faced Assassin has run away with it so far this season. Thru 25 games Steph is averaging over 30 ppg and close to 6-7 assist a game, he is even leading the league in almost every statistical category. Now don't get me wrong guys like Westbrook (OKC) and Harden (HOU) and by the end of the season Davis (NO) all will be a threat to Curry winning back to back MVP’s. I think that if he can maintain this pace all season long then the trophy is his to lose...again!!...
