San Francisco 49ers Bye week review: This was not how i expected the 1st part of the season to go. This season the 49ers were supposed to be able to compete and possibly fight for a playoff spot. Instead this is a dysfunctional family of players that has tremendous talent but will never see it succeed at least not this season. The final straw for this season saw star QB Colin Kaepernick get benched in favor of Blaine Gabbert and the loss of Reggie Bush early in the season. The best they can hope for the rest is to just play hard and competitive and hope that they can make some noise and play spoiler for a team or two….
