The Cardinals put a rag tag team on the field last year after they lost QB Carson Palmer. I know I didn’t think that they would be able to survive the season, yet alone would make the playoffs. They did exactly that they survived the season on back up QB’s and made a playoff appearance against the Carolina Panthers!! The Cards could not pull off the upset against a good Carolina team. But it did set the stage for them to have one hell of a season this year…

1.       Sat. Aug. 15th (vs. Chiefs) (Results: 34-19 Cardinals L): The season opening loss to the Chiefs was no surprise. The Cardinals have never really been a deep team and this was another game that proved it. Palmer looked good in his 1st game in almost a year, but he played limited time in this 1st game and the team showed it still isn’t that deep…

2.       Sat. Aug. 22nd (vs. Chargers) (Results: 22-19 Cardinals L): The Chargers looked like a team that could win a division title. But alas it is only the preseason and I know the outcome would be different in the regular season. The Cardinals showed a little more improvement on the defensive side of the ball as they only gave up 22 points. In the end though the offense couldn’t produce enough points to pick up a victory…

3.       Sun. Aug 30th (@ Raiders) (Results: 30-23 Cardinals W): This game showed a lot of weaknesses and strengths that the team has moving forward into the 2015-16 season. The running game seemed to be sluggish but the passing game is starting to pick up. In the end the Cardinals got the victory even though the Raiders put up one hell of a fight…

4.       Thu. Sep. 3rd (@ Broncos) (Results: 22-20 Cardinals W): This was the final preseason game so none of the starters for any team saw any significant time. Other than that this was a really good game as the Cardinals backups were able to out play the Broncos and get the win and close the preseason 2-2…
