Double K’s Take: Western/ Eastern Conference Finals Preview…

This year the conference finals will be 4 of the top teams in the NBA Today. As the #1 & #2 teams in both conferences reached the finals. Now the interesting question will be which two teams will be reaching the NBA Finals. The Warriors are a franchise on a historic run, starting the league’s MVP in PG Steph Curry! The Rockets feature a big man looking to prove himself (Howard) and a man looking to prove that he should be this year’s MVP (Harden). The Eastern Conference will be redemption man (James) and his new Big 3 (Love, Irving) taking on the team of no stars in the Atlanta Hawks. So let’s get into the predictions…

Western Conference Finals: Golden State Warriors (67-15) vs. Houston Rockets (56-23) (Prediction: Warriors take series in 6): This is a series that I expect to go back and forth for a couple of games. The Rockets are strong in areas where the Warriors are weaker. This Warriors team in the end will be too much for the Rockets. Now don’t get me wrong Harden deserved more votes than he got in the MVP race, but Curry is the league MVP and I think by the end of this series the rest of the doubters will agree…

Eastern Conference Finals: Cleveland Cavaliers (53-29) vs. Atlanta Hawks (60-22) (Prediction: Cav’s take series in 5): I have said it before and I will say it again, even without love the Cav’s are still a better team than the Hawks. This series will prove exactly that, I expect the Hawks to put up a fight. They are a 60 win team in the NBA today so that is nothing to sneeze at, but alas they will have no answer for Irving and James and because of that fact I think that the Hawks will be watching the NBA Finals from home this season…

 Finals Prediction: Warriors vs. Cavaliers
