I had to write this one while it was fresh and on the
forefront of my mind. I am in no way a University of Kentucky Wildcats fan. I
don’t root Go Blue, unless you are talking University of California football,
basketball or baseball. What I am a huge fan of Is history and this year’s
Kentucky team came extremely close to that (Within one 2 wins to be exact) On
this Saturday evening I find myself humbled because I gave the Wisconsin
Badgers no chance to be this all NBA team that called themselves a college
hoops team. Led by the incomparable John Calapari and this was supposed to be
his year. After the buzzer sounded on the final four these evening the Wildcats
were going home and the Badgers were on their way to play Duke for a National
Title. So I give a final congrats to a team that will probably look completely
different next year and say you came close but for this year….no cigar…
