Double K’s Classroom NFL Week 17 Review: Kansas City Chiefs (11-4) vs. San Diego Chargers (8-7)

Week #17: Kansas City Chiefs at San Diego Chargers

Chiefs (C.Daniel 21/30 200yrds 1TD, K.Davis 27car 81yrds 2TD, A.Jenkins 3rec 67yrds): The Chiefs didn’t need this victory and you could tell by the fact that they didn’t start any of their season long starters. The sad thing about it is that this was still a fairly competitive game that almost went to overtime. Overall the Chiefs didn’t need this win and so they didn’t get the win…

Chargers (P.Rivers 22/33 229yrds 3TD 1INT, R.Matthews 24car 144yrds, K.Allen 5rec 89yrds): The Chargers on the other hand needed this victory more than the Chiefs. The Chargers were a desperate team and they needed a victory to help secure themselves a playoff spot in this year’s playoffs. Of course they needed some help from a couple of other teams, and they got that help earlier in the day. That allowed them to play hard knowing that they controlled their own destiny.
Overall this was just the Chargers lucky day in so many ways…

Final Score: Chargers 27, Chiefs 24 F/OT
