Double K’s Classroom NFL Week 17 Review: San Francisco 49ers (11-4) vs. Arizona Cardinals (10-5)

Week #17: San Francisco 49ers at Arizona Cardinals

49ers (C.Kapernick 21/34 310yrds 2TD, Q.Patton 1car 26yrds, A.Boldin 9rec 149yrds 1TD): The 49ers came into this game barely holding onto the 5thplayoff spot and needing to win this game to secure it. So what did they do they went out and gave the fans a heart stopper of a win. The game seemed to be put away early and it looked like the 49ers were going to walk away with it. But the Cards made it difficult which was a a good thing for this San Fran team. Overall a solid victory over a very good team…

Cardinals (C.Palmer 28/49 407yrds 2TD 1INT, R.Mendenhall 10car 47yrds, L.Fitzgerald 6rec 113yrds): This was a game that was needed by Arizona to secure a playoff spot in this year’s tournament. Unfortunately on this day they couldn’t get the job done they came out real flat early on. They tried to make it a game late and almost took it to overtime but the wholes that they have on defense allowed the 49ers to move down the field close enough to let Phil Dawson do the rest as he kicked the FG that broke the Cardinals hearts… this year. Overall the Cardinals are so close to the playoffs they could smell it!!

Final Score: 49ers 23, Cardinals 20
