Double K’s Classroom NFL Week 16 Review: Arizona Cardinals (9-5) vs. Seattle Seahawks (12-2)

Week #16: Arizona Cardinals at Seattle Seahawks

Cardinals (C.Palmer 13/25 178yrds 1TD 4INT, A.Ellington 15car 64yrds, B.Golden 1rec 63yrds): The Cardinals came into a stadium that no one had gotten a victory at in over a year and a half. No one thought that the Cards would be that team…No one except for the Cardinals. They overcame four interceptions to get the last second touchdown that allowed the Cardinals to do what no team had done in a long time and that was beat the Seahawks at home. Overall this game showed that the monster could be beaten in its own house…

Seahawks (R.Wilson 11/27 108yrds 1TD 1INT, M.Lynch 18car 71yrds, J.Kearse 3rec 38yrds): The Seahawks on the other hand needed this reality check for the ride that they had been on in recent weeks and minus the loss to SF. The roll they have been on all season. The defense played stout and was able to force turnovers to keep Seattle in the game. But late they were just gassed and allowed the one big play that got Arizona the victory. Overall Seattle’s offense showed some vulnerabilities and the defense some holes but they are still 14-1 in their last 15 at home…

Final Score: Cardinals 17, Seahawks 10
