Double K’s Classroom NFL Week 16 Review: Oakland Raiders (4-10) vs. San Diego Chargers (7-7)

Week #16: Oakland Raiders at San Diego Chargers

Raiders (M.McGloin 20/36 206yrds 1INT, R.Jennings 10car 45yrds, A.Holmes 5rec 71yrds): The Raiders were a team heading in the downward direction. Matt McGloin seemedlike he was regressing at this point after his hot start. Jennings couldn’t move the ball and the offense seemed almost allergic to the end zone at times. Overall this was a game that the Chargers wanted and the Raiders didn’t and it showed in the play on the field…

Chargers (P.Rivers 19/29 201 yrds 1TD 1INT, R.Mathews 25car 99yrds 1TD, E.Royal 4rec 54yrds): This Chargers team was still in the hunt for the playoffs and needed this victory to keep their hopes alive. Fortunately for the Chargers the Raiders didn’t put up much of a fight. Rivers looked ok out there but he played well enough to get the win. Overall this was a game the Chargers needed and this was a game that they got to keep them in the hunt…

Final Score: Chargers 26, Raiders 13
