Double K’s Classroom NFL Week 15 Review: Arizona Cardinals (8-5) vs. Tennessee Titans (5-8)

Week #15: Arizona Cardinals at Tennessee Titans

Cardinals (C.Palmer 20/30 231yrds 1TD, A.Ellington 10car 71yrds, A.Ellington 4rec 87yrds): The Cardinals were a team that was on its way up. Palmer has found his groove and Ellington was showing that he has the capabilities to be a starting back in this league. But the game was a shootout that exposed the Cardinals offense for some of the weaknesses that they have against the pass. But in the end the Card’s were able to do just enough to get the victory over the Titans. Overall the Cardinals needed this victory to stay in the hunt….

Titans (R.Fitzpatrick 36/58 402yrds 4TD 2INT, C.Johnson 13car 40yrds, K.Wright 12rec 150yrds): The Titans on the other hand came into this game with low expectations. So they played like a team with nothing to lose, they came out flinging the ball in the air and both Fitzpatrick and Wright found a connection. The Titans defense may not have shown up for this game but their offense for sure did. Overall this was a win that would have put the Titans square in the middle of the AFC Wild Card race, instead they fall off and look to next season…

Final Score: Cardinals 37,Titans 34 F/OT
