Double K’s Classroom NFL Week 15 Review: San Diego Chargers (6-7) vs. Denver Broncos (11-2)

Week #15: San Diego Chargers at Denver Broncos

Chargers (P.Rivers 12/20 166yrds 2TD, R.Matthews 29car 127yrds 1TD, V.Brown 3rec 54yrds): The Chargers were a team to be reckoned with at this point in the season and they would need every win they could get. Traveling to Mile-High they knew that this task would not be easy. But the Chargers were a team capable of getting the job done and they did just that as they challenged the Broncos in every phase of the game and showed the mighty Broncos could be defeated. Overall a great and much needed win for the Chargers in their hunt for the playoffs…

Broncos (P.Manning 27/41 289yrds 2TD 1INT, K.Moreno 8car 19yrds, A.Caldwell 6rec 59yrds 2TD): In this game the offense showed that even if the defense is playing well. Sometimes the offense just doesn’t get the job done, and Payton and Co. didn’t. Knowshawn Moreno was pretty much held in check as he didn’t get even 20yrds on the ground. Peyton Manning looked lost at times against the Chargers defense and made multiple mistakes that cost them the game. Overall the Broncos took a loss and still finished on top…

Final Score: Chargers 27, Broncos 20
