Double K’s Classroom NFL Week 15 Review: Kansas City Chiefs (10-3) vs. Oakland Raiders (4-9)

Week #15: Kansas City Chiefs at Oakland Raiders

Chiefs (A.Smith 17/20 287yrds 5TD, K.Davis 9car 34yrds 1TD, J.Charles 8rec 195yrds 4TD): The Chiefs were a team that had a very powerful defense for most of the season. That kinda changed in this game as they gave up alot of yards. If not for the four interceptions that they were able to get this may have turned into a shootout between them and the Raiders. Instead we got a blowout in which the offense is the primary reason for the victory. Overall the Chiefs over achieved in this game and left a lot of Oakland Raiders fans unhappy…

Raiders (M.McGloin 18/35 297yrds 2TD’s 4INT, R.Jennings 23car 91yrds 2TD, R.Streater 4rec 59yrds): The Raiders offense was able to move the ball pretty efficiently against what could widely be considered to be the best defense in the division. The defense is what let them down this time by getting torched in the air by Alex Smith and making Jamal Charles look like Barry Sanders on the football field. This all overshadowed a 31 point performance by the offense as the Raiders were blown out at home. Overall in a week that saw the NFL put up historical numbers as far as points scored the Chiefs contributed 56 against this Raiders defense…

Final Score: Chiefs 56, Raiders 31
