Week #13: Cincinnati Bengals at San Diego Chargers

Bengals (A.Dalton 14/23 190yrds 1TD 1INT, B.Green Ellis 20car 92yrds 1TD, A.Green 5rec 83yrds 1TD): The Bengals were looking hot and were playing well on defense coming into this game. The Chargers defense gave Dalton and the boys a lot of trouble as well. This team had something to prove , this team was looking to make a statement of their own and solidifying themselves as legitimate contenders to the AFC South crown. Overall the Bengals needed a win and got one over the Chargers…

Chargers (P.Rivers 23/37 252yrds 1TD 1INT, R.Mathews 14car 61yrds, K.Allen 8rec 106yrds): The Chargers game it everything they had, but it just wasn’t enough. The Bengals were just that much better as they managed to pull out the close win. This is a game that set up the Chargers for a fantastic run into the postseason.  The emergence of Cal grad Kennan Allen as a go-to wide out for Rivers. Even though Mathews didn’t have a great game but he did have a good one. Overall the Chargers proved that they could hang with one of the top AFC team….

Final Score: Bengals  17, Chargers 10
