Double K’s Classroom NFL Week 9 Review: San Diego Chargers (4-3) vs. Washington Redskins (2-5)

Week#9: San Diego Chargers at Washington Redskins

Chargers (P.Rivers 29/46 341yrds 2TD 2INT, R.Mathews 7car 34yrds, K.Allen 8rec 128yrds 1TD):  The Chargers came into this game just over .500 and looking to keep the roll going against a Redskins team that has looked anemic in recent weeks. The Chargers gave it all they could as they did everything that was necessary to keep the game close but it just wasn’t enough  to get them the win on this Sunday…

Redskins (R.Griffin III 23/32 291yrds 1INT, A.Morris 25car 121yrds 1TD, P.Garcon 7rec 172yrds): The Redskins on the other hand came into this game with nothing to lose and found themselves a unlikely hero in their backup running back. They used the ground game to control the clock and to make sure that they could take it into overtime and get the victory over a Chargers team that is definitely better and was on the upswing coming into this game…

Final Score: Redskins 30, Chargers 24 F/OT
