Double K’s Classroom NFL Week 9 Review: Philadelphia Eagles (3-5) vs. Oakland Raiders (3-4)

Week #9: Philadelphia Eagles at Oakland Raiders

Eagles (N.Foles 22/28 406yrds 7TD, B.Brown 7car 54yrds, D.Jackson 5rec 150yrds 1TD): On this day the Eagles were able to look like a truly unstoppable force as they came out and beat the snot out of the Oakland Raiders. The Eagles offense ran about as efficiently as those old Oregon Ducks team that Chip Kelly used to run.  Nick Foles looked like the best QB in the league becoming the 2nd QB this season (P.Manning being the other) to throw for 7TD’s…

Raiders (T.Pryor 22/41 288yrds 2INT, R.Jennings 15car 102yrds 1TD, R.Streater 5rec 98yrds): The Raiders came out and put up a decent fight early on in the game but the Eagles defense and offense were just too much for the Raiders. This was the 1st time since last season against Denver that I swathe Raiders pushed around on their home field like that. The only bright spot was the continued maturation of RB Jennings in the offense other than that the Raiders just laid a egg…

Final Score: Eagles 49, Raiders 20
