Double K’s Classroom NFL Week 12 Review: San Diego Chargers (4-6) vs. Kansas City Chiefs (8-2)

Week #12: San Diego Chargers at Kansas City Chiefs

Chargers (P.Rivers 27/39 392yrds 3TD, R.Mathews 14car 55yrds 1TD, K.Allen 9rec 124yrds): The Chargers were still in the Wild Card hunt at this point. They may have needed some help to get there but they needed a win against the 2nd best team in the AFC West.  The Chargers went out and went toe to toe with a good KC team in their own house. The team got the win and kept themselves within striking distance after this Sunday. Overall the Chargers are a team to watch at this point in the season…

Chiefs (A.Smith 26/38 294yrds 3TD 1INT, J.Charles 14car 115yrds 2TD, D.Avery 4rec 91yrds 1TD): The Chiefs needed to prove that they could win against good teams. Against division teams they came up just short in this matchup as the Chargers needed this win a little more. Alex Smith is not a QB that is going to win many shootouts but normally with the Chiefs defense he didn’t have to!! Overall bottom line is the Chiefs defense let them down….

Final Score: Chargers 41, Chiefs 38
