Double K’s Classroom NFL Week 7 Review: San Francisco 49ers (4-2) vs. Tennessee Titans (3-3)…

Week #7: San Francisco 49ers at Tennessee Titans…

49ers (C.Kapernick 13/21 199yrds, F.Gore 24car 70yrds 2TD, A.Boldin 5rec 74yrds): This was another week where the 49ers needed to get the win and they went out and did exactly that against a mismatched Titans squad. Kapernick did most of his damage on the ground but did manage to put up almost 200yrds in the air and Gore had a easy day that led to a 2TD game. Overall the defense played well even though they did give up a lot of yards during garbage time late in the game…

Titans (J.Locker 25/41 326yrds 2TD, C.Johnson 9rec 39yrds, K.Wright 9rec 98yrds): The Titans were a team that was looking to make a statement against a Super Bowl hopeful team in their own house. Jake Locker looked like he was a QB on a mission as he put up over 300 yards and 2TD’s. The defense held the star back Johnson to under 50 yards rushing for the day. Overall not a statement game but they did play well and look like a team that is getting better by the week…

Final Score: 49ers 31, Titans 17…
