Double K’s Classroom NFL Week 3 Review: Indianapolis Colts (1-1) vs. San Francisco 49ers (1-1)

Week 3: Indianapolis Colts at San Francisco 49ers

Colts (A.Luck 17/26 159yrds, A.Bradshaw 19car 95yrds 1TD, D.Heyward-Bey 5rec 59yrds): In a game that was supposed to be a battle of “Student”(Luck) versus “Teacher”(Harbaugh) and also a return home for the Colts QB as he is a product of Stanford University. Well he and his team had one hell of a homecoming as they moved the ball at will against a struggling San Fran. It didn’t matter if it was in the air or on the ground the colts did what they wanted to as the defense made the 49ers look lost…

49ers (C.Kapernick 13/27 150yrds 1INT, F.Gore 11car 82yrds, A.Boldin 5rec 67yrds): The 49ers on the other hand came into the game after the hard loss in Seattle looking to rebound and make something of the rest of this season. The offense looked strong scoring on its first drive of the game but never scoring again after that. I don’t know what Coach Harbaugh was thinking but the running game was working really well early. They went away from it late and that was the flaw in the game ended up costing them a chance at a win. Lucky for the 49ers there are 16 games in this season…

Final Score: Colts 27, 49ers 7
