Double K’s Classroom NFL Week 2 Review: Detroit Lions (1-0) vs. Arizona Cardinals (0-1)

Week 2: Detroit Lions at Arizona Cardinals

Lions (M.Stafford 24/36 278yrds 2TD, J.Bell 8car 31yrds, C.Johnson 6rec 116yrds 2TD): After looking good in their week one victory. The Lions came into the game looking to beat the hapless Cardinals. But unfortunately the Lions defense didn’t play well and their offense looked a little less productive as they had lost RB Bush for the week and were looking to make do with RB Bell. He didn’t do bad but he was no Reggie Bush but he did the best he could. It just wasn’t enough to help the Lions win the game…

Cardinals (C.Palmer 22/39 248yrds 1TD 1INT, R.Mendenhall 15car 66yrds 1TD, A.Ellington 2rec 42yrds 1TD): The Cardinals came in after a loss last week and were looking for a bounce back game and who knew it would come against the Lions. The Cardinals defense showed that they can be for real on some Sundays but just not every Sunday like some teams. The strong performance from the defense allowed the offense to play well enough to get the victory. Allowing the Cards to get to 1-1 on this young season…

Final Score: Cardinals 25, Lions 21
