#4 Milwaukee Bucks SG
Monte Ellis (Last Season: Bucks were 8 seed in playoffs, swept in 1st
round by Heat. Stats: 37MPG, 42%FG, 29% 3PT, 4 RPG, 6APG, 19PPG): I liked
Monte from the moment the Warriors drafted him. But I never thought that he was
going to flourish to his full potential in Oakland. I was a believer in the fact
that Ellis is a amazing scorer but he will always struggle on defense because
he is small for a 2 guard and slightly below average for a point. But Monte
Ellis can put up points and he can put them up in a hurry as he did for several
years for the Warriors. No disrespect meant but he was expendable piece and
when the opportunity came up to get Andrew Bogut a true center with defensive skill
the Warriors couldn’t pass on the opportunity and I don’t blame them. So for Monte
this could be his best move him and Jennings make a good combo guard set and will
be making runs into the playoffs for years to come. But to me Monte will always
be a Warrior….
