Double K’s Perspective:”Seattle Seahawks 2013 NFL Draft”…


                                                                                                                                                                The Seahawks were in a similar position to the 49ers this off season. They didn’t come in with as many draft picks but they had very little immediate needs and really only looked to add depth and youth this off season. I would say  that they achieved that goal, the addition of Cliff Avril to the defensive line will have a huge impact and the Seahawks look to compete again with the 49ers for the NFC West division crown. But back to the draft the Seahawks didn’t have many needs and it showed as they traded out of the 1st round and all the way to the 30th pick…

Round 3

1.       R2 P30 – RB Christine Michael TAM – (Pick Grade: C+): This back will not come in and start immediately but he could be a impact player on special teams and as a rest for Marshawn Lynch from time to time. And he has the potential to be a star back in the years to come. So keep an eye out for this special kid in the future…

Round 5

2.       R5 P4 – DT Jessie Williams ALA – (Pick Grade: B+): The pickup  of Jessie Williams is huge because he comes from a school that is notable in Alabama and he is a national champion something that not a lot of NFL players can say. But once again i tell you he will not have a huge impact early but that is just because he won’t see the playing field a lot this season but once again look to his bright future to see why they picked him up…
