Double K’s 2013 NBA Playoff Matchups: Eastern Conference…

Eastern Conference (Round 2)…

(1) Miami Heat vs. (5) Chicago Bulls (4-1): This was one of the more physical matchups of the playoffs so far. With there being so much hatred and animosity between these two teams and all. It didn’t help that the Bulls were short handed giving them even less of a chance to win the series. But the Bulls gave it all that they had and managed to win game one, with some questionable plays that some could consider dirty. The Heat were able to after that get into a groove and dominate the rest of the series to win in 5 games against a Bulls team that seemed to get more and more injured by the game. Well now they can rest up at home and prepare for next season…

(2) New York Knicks vs. (3) Indiana Pacers (2-4): The Knicks needed this series to justify all of their moves that they have made over the past couple of years. They needed this victory for Carmelo to help further his dynasty. But alas the Knicks were unable to go out and get this series. The Pacers were just the better team no offense to the Knicks it’s kind of like the old Lakers team (Payton/Bryant/Malone and ONeal) that a team with a lot of individual stars cannot always beat a team that plays as a team. The Pacers slowly emerged as a true threat to the Miami Heat in the Eastern Conference but we will see as those 2 face off in the Eastern Conference Finals…
