#1 Round 1 - (6) Golden State Warriors vs. (3) Denver
Nuggets…
(3)(6) Golden State
Warriors (2013 Reg. Season: 101ppg, 45rpg, 23apg, 46% FG, 40% 3PT): The Warriors came into the postseason
health and hot and I think they will perform similar to the 08 Warriors team
that advanced past the 1st round. This team has Bogut and Lee in the low post
and Curry and Thompson in the back-court This combination with Harrison Barnes
being a little spark plug the Warriors can keep pace and even outpace the
Nuggets in this series but they are going to have to keep up on the boards and
keep shooting lights out…
(0)(3) Denver Nuggets
(2013 Reg. Season: 106ppg, 45rpg, 24apg, 48% FG, 34% 3PT): The Nuggets come
into the series on a hot streak; they won’t have their star forward the Man Beast
Kenneth Faried for the 1st couple of games. But they have enough
depth to get the job done and may very well hold home court considering that
they haven’t lost at home in their past 23 games. Denver can get up on ya fast
and keep their foot on your neck. This is going to be hard for the Warriors to
compete with…
Synopsis: (Nuggets
won season series 3-1) Warriors 4, Nuggets 3: Yes folks part of my
prediction is bias but if you look at how Mark Jackson has prepared this team
and got them ready to play some playoff basketball. And it will show thru in
the 1st couple of games I expect both teams to hold home court and
be even at 2-2 but the Warriors will take all of their home games the Nuggets
will lose the final game at home and end up going home while the Warriors move
on…
First Game: 4/20/13
