Double K’s Top 5 2013 NCAA Tourney Upsets (WK2): #3 (4) Syracuse Orangemen vs. (1) Indiana Hoosiers…
#3 (4) Syracuse
Orangemen (29-9)(BIGEST) vs. (1) Indiana Hoosiers (29-7)(BIG10) Final Score:
61-50 (Sweet 16): The Orangemen were considered favorites coming into this
tournament. The Zone that they run at Syracuse is highly effective when used
with the proper personnel. And with Jim Baheim at the helm they rode that wave
right past the team that was favored to win the tournament or at least get to
the Title game. But the Orangemen had different designs on this season and they
advanced all the way to the Final Four before finally being stopped by the
Wolverines. But the run that the Orangemen had in this year’s tourney is unforgettable
because if it wasn’t for anal star team they might have been able to play their
way to a title. But alas they will have to settle for my #3 upset in week 2 of
the 2013 NCAA Tournament…
