This
off-season the NFL was crazy and now we have a bunch of new faces in different
places. Like Mike Wallace as a Dolphin,
Reggie Bush as a Lion and Cliff Avril now a Seahawks. Nnamdi Asomuah came back
to the bay, but now he wears the scarlet and gold instead of the Silver and
Black. Carson Palmer is a Cardinal and former backup Matt Flynn is now in
Oakland all this and much more is why this has got to be one of the craziest
off season and free agency periods than I have seen in my life. A lot of it has
to do with the lack of a true increase in the salary cap for this season. But
overall everyone made it work and all of the west coast teams improved if only
a little bit. Here is a list of the moves made by each team. Up 1st
the Oakland Raiders…

Next up is the San Diego Chargers they didn’t make a lot of moves this
free agency period but they did improve adding RB Danny Woodhead gives them
another Darren Sproles type back to be a “change of pace” back with Ryan
Mathews. And to catch passes from Phillip Rivers so keep an eye on the Chargers
they have put together quite a team down there in San Diego…

This year the Cardinals made a couple of big moves one that helped the
offense in trading for Carson Palmer and one for the defense in picking up Matt
Shaunessy from the Raiders to help out that defensive line. Now if the
offensive line can just come together this will be another really good team in
a very crowded NFC West…

The 49ers made moves this offseason but all of
them were very strategic and made sense for what they were trying to do and even
though the 49ers didn’t make a big splash in free agency they made a huge impact
with the players that they signed and resigned. The biggest addition was WR
Anquan Boldin and the biggest loss was S Dashon Goldson who got his big payday
in Tampa Bay…

1.

The
Seahawks had themselves a very productive off-season addressing need as soon as
the bell rang on the 1st day of Free Agency. They achieved this via trade
with Minnesota and acquiring WR Percy Harvin and in Free Agency picking up DL
Cliff Avril from the Detroit Lions. But Pete Carroll is a smart coach and he
will have those boys ready to play and fighting for the NFC West crown…
Seahawks FA Signees:

Seahawks ReSignees:
1.

C.Gresham
Seahawks trade for:

Well this will be it for Double K’s Free Agency look for this season. But
we will be back to take a look at the NFL Draft and give you something else to
think about as the 49ers have 14 picks in this year’s draft so we will be
watching next week as they make moves to try to get back to another Super Bowl.
Till Next week my friends… Class is dismissed…
