Double K’s 2013 NFL Combine Players to watch: DE Ziggy Ansah, BYU Cougars…

(6’5”, 271lbs, 34.5” Vert, 118” Broad Jump, NFL Comparison: Justin Tuck): Now as I have noted before this kid is a beast. If you have been watching ESPN or NFL network then you have probably heard about this kid already. He is listed to go as high as #2 on some peoples mock draft boards and i can see why at 6’5” with a 4.63 sec 40 time this kid is going to be a instant impact player in the NFL and definitely someone to keep an eye on in the coming years. Compared most to Justin Tuck due to both having motors that won’t quit until he gets to the QB. That is something that will benefit him greatly in his 1st few years in the NFL…

On the Raiders…: Now the Raiders have the best opportunity to take this kid. As long as the Jaguars don’t take him with the 2nd pick the Raiders will have plenty of options on the defensive line, but if they decide they want to do the “best player available” scenario. Then this would be their guy and he would make an instant impact on the Raiders defensive line and be a leader that the Raiders desperately need on defense. He would not only be a value pick at #3, He would be the Raiders top d-lineman for years to come…

How would he fit into the 49ers defensive scheme? I say he would fit in perfectly he is a excellent pass rusher and has a explosive 1st step. He could come in like Aldon Smith did his rookie year and be a situational LB that will play all over the field. But alas the 49ers will not be able to draft him so this is all “What If” talk but he would address a need that the 49ers have…
