#4 Los Angeles Angels
SP Jared Weaver (Career:W/L: 102-51, ERA: 3.23, K’s: 1118): Weaver is
another home grown product. He was drafted by the Angels in 2004 and made his
major league debut in 2006 and in the fallowing 6 seasons Weaver has just gone
on to be one of the most dominant pitchers in baseball. He has been a Athletics
killer during his career and though they have only been to one WS. He has kept
them relevant even in years that they didn't make the playoffs. He is a 3 time
All Star and even manages to throw a no-hitter (5/2/12) but those 100 wins in
six seasons are numbers that you want from your ace in any pitching staff. But
overall if you can find a more intimidating pitcher on the mound I would like
to see it. But as for right now he is my #4 top pitcher in MLB today…
