#2 Washington
Nationals SP Stephen Strasburg (Career: W/L:21-10, ERA: 2.94, K’s: 313, WHIP:
1.09): Now this young man came into the league with a lot of fanfare. Considering
the fact that he was dubbed the young leader of this franchise. Drafted with
the 1st pick in the 2009 draft he got on a sky rocket to the majors.
By June of 2010 Strasburg was pitching in his 1st MLB ballgame he
gave up 2 runs and struck out 14 major league batters and he had arrived. In
the following year he would have to undergo Tommy John Surgery and would be
held out until the beginning of the 2012 season and he performed amazing for a
young kid and showed that the Nationals have a young and very strong pitching
staff going into the future. For this he is my #2 Pitcher in MLB…
