#4 Cincinnati Reds OF
Joey Votto (Career: .316 Avg., 133 HR’s, 822 Hts, 457 RBI’s): Joey Votto
has been one of the most consistent hitters in MLB. The guy has a .300+ career
average. After being drafted in the 2002 MLB Draft (#44 ovr.by the Reds) right
out of high school. It took him a couple of years but finally in 2007 he made
his Major League debut. And from that point on the Reds had themselves a star.
Joey gave them stability at the 1B position and in the #4 spot in their lineup
for the last 5 years. He took home the NL MVP award in 2010 after a .324 season
with 37 homeruns and 113 rbi’s. But the one thing that the Reds know is that
they have a great hitter in there lineup for many years to come. That is why he
is my #4 Hitter in MLB today…
