#2 Pirates OF Andrew
McCutchen (Career: .290Avg., 629Hts, 82HR’s, 295RBI’s, 98SB’s): Andrew
McCutchen was drafted in 2005 out of Fort Meade High School in Fort Meade, FL.
He was a young skinny kid who had knocked the cover off the ball in HS. Hitting
for .450+ with 45 stolen bases made Andrew good enough to be drafted #11 out of
High School. McCutchen chose to go to the minors instead of attending Florida University.
This turned out to be a good choice for him because here we are 8 years later
and he is a bonafied All-Star and looking to take the Pirates somewhere they
have not been in a long time…. The Playoffs.
For this reason and many more McCutchen is my #2 Hitter in MLB Today….
