#5 San Francisco
49ers/ Oakland Raiders RB Roger Craig (49ers: 83’-90’, Raiders: 91’): Roger
Craig was a running back that came into the league under not much fan fare in
83’. But Bill Walsh knew what he had in this young RB and he was a beast for
the 49ers helping to lead them to 3 Super Bowl titles (84’, 88’, and 89’). But with
the help of Joe Montana and Jerry Rice who opened up the field for the running game.
After 7 successful years in the Crimson and Gold Roger moved on for the latter
part of his career to play for the Los Angeles Raiders, he wasn’t much of a pro
bowl back when he was with the Silver and Black but he was solid putting up a
little under 600 yards in his single season in LA. But I still consider this a
Bay Area team jumper because the Raiders will always be from Oakland so he went
from one team to across the Bay to another. And he is the #5 Bay Area team
jumper in my Top 5…
