Game #19 – Super Bowl
XLVII Baltimore Ravens at San Francisco 49ers
Offense: BAL A-/SF A:
Both of these teams have been extremely hot on offense during these
playoffs. The 49ers put up a total of 73 points in the past 2 rounds (that’s an
average of 36 points a game). The Ravens offense on the other hand has put up
90 in 3 rounds (that’s an average of 30 points a game). Its going to come down
to the teams defenses being able to stop these two juggernaut squads that
decides this Super Bowl. Bu t I know that Kapernick and the boys seem to know
what to do once they get behind and know how to close a game out so expect the
49ers to be able to put up at least 24-28 points…
Defense: BAL A-/SF A:
The defensive side of the ball these two teams are almost identical. They
both have strong linebacking cores they have strong defensive lines and stars
at the safety position. What I think is going to make the difference is Faggio’s
playcalling versus the Ravens D-Coordinator. Can Faggio gameplan better than
the Ravens and use the one advantage that the 49ers have which is youth and
speed on the defensive side of the ball. The Ravens bring a lot of emotion to
the game and they will come in prepared. This will cause the game to be close
early and rely on Kapernick and the boys to be clutch late like they have in
every other game in these playoffs…
Final Score: 49ers
24, Ravens 21
