Oakland Coliseum,
Oakland, CA….Oakland Athletics/Oakland Raiders: Built in the late 60’s what
is now known as the O.co Coliseum holds so many memories for so many people. I
remember watching countless Oakland A’s games there with my family. Watched
tons of homeruns and even came close to watching Nolan Ryan throw a no-no
against my favorite team. Even later years after what I feel was a horrible
mistake (Mt.Davis) was built. I enjoyed a couple of Raiders games all wins as
well. There have been a lot of memories there for a lot of the Bay Area. I
remember standing to watch a fireworks show in the area where the BART station
overpass is before they closed it off. But almost 50 years of memories the O.Co
Coliseum is the #2 Sports Landmark in the Bay Area…
