#4 Blue Jays OF Melky
Cabrera (2012, Suspended for 50 games for use of PED’s): Now at the beginning
of the 2012 season the Giants had made one of the best pickup in that previous
off season. They picked up Melky Cabrera from the Kansas City Royals. The
outfielder started out the season on a tear, He was leading the league in
Batting average and looked like if he got hot he could eclipse Ted Williams .400+ season. But alas that was
not to be just like in Oakland the next week the San Francisco Giants would receive
notification that their all-star had failed a drug test and was being suspended
for 50 games. Cabrera would never recover from this hit and would never be seen
wearing a Giants uniform again. But the All Star had a major impact on the Giants
lineup when he was there and will be remembered fondly. But for now he will
just be remembered as the #4 PED User in sports today as he continues his
career in Toronto…
