Women’s Basketball Team…Why Stanford Cardinal? The question that should be
asked is why they are so low on this list. This is a list of some of the best
programs in the country. And the program that Ms. VanDerveer has built is one
of substance and a pipe line to the WNBA.
There have been many NCAA All Americans and WNBA All Stars that have
passed through this program. Tara has been a rock and made the best out of this
program. The Cardinal are now a national powerhouse and they compete every year
for a national title and I think that even after Tara’s retirement and eventual
election into the NCAA Hall of Fame. The
Cardinal will continue to dominate and recruit solid young student athletes who
will live up to the standard that is being set forth now in Palo Alto,
California…
