Double K’s Greatest Games never played: 94’ Warriors vs 94’ Chicago Bulls in the NBA Finals…

Game #3 – NBA Finals - 94 Golden State Warriors vs 94 Chicago Bulls

94 Golden State Warriors (50-32, HC: Don Nelson, Finished 3rd in Pacific Division, 6th in Conference): This is a Warriors team that had the chops to go all the way. Even though in real life they got eliminated in the 1st round by the very capable Phoenix Suns team. But lets say they didn’t and the Warriors were able to keep it rolling and advance to the NBA Finals. The roster of Sprewell, Webber and Mullin along with Owens, Gatling and Avery Johnson. They had guards that could score and a big man in the middle who could get the job done. Game #3 – NBA Finals - 94 Golden State Warriors vs 94 Chicago Bulls

94 Chicago Bulls (55-27, HC Phil Jackson, Finished 2nd in Central Division, 3rd in Conference): This being one of the 1st teams without Michael Jordan. I thought that the Bulls were good enough even without the great one to reach a NBA Finals. I think Scottie and the Boys could have found a way to prove that they were for real and reach the surprising Golden State Warriors for the NBA championship. But the ultimate question is could the Bulls have put it together well enough behind Phil Jackson to get the win over the 2nd greatest coach of the Jackson generation. Oh and as for these boys they played good defense….

Synopsis: Bulls 4, Warriors 3:  The reason why I give the edge in the 7th game to the Bulls is because of one man. No that man is not Scotty Pippin even though he would be a huge part of it. That man would be Phil Jackson. At the end of the day Phil was just a better coach and it would shine through in this series. In this amazing matchup between 2 of the greatest coaching minds in this generation. But your ultimate matchup would end with the Bulls as NBA’s World Champs for the 4th year in a row…
