Double K’s 2012-13 Arizona Cardinals Season Recap…

2012-13 Arizona Cardinals (5-11, Finished 4th in the NFC West)...

Offense (28th in the NFL, Passing: 3005yrds 11 TD’s 21 INT’s, 32nd in NFL, Rushing: 1204yrds, 10TD’s 6 FUM): The Cardinals had one of the NFL’s worst offenses in 2012… but it didn’t begin that way they came out the gate with QB John Skelton and were able to start 4-0 and didn’t win but one game after that. And they went thru multiple QB’s in that time…the running game was no extra help they ranked dead last in the league with starting back Beanie Wells out for the majority of the season they weren’t really able to get it going. But overall there are a lot of talented players on this offense so with Bruce Arians running the offense they should be able to bounce back next year and have a better season because this year was a dud!!...

Defense (5th in the NFL, Passing: 3213yrds 20TD’s 22 INT’s, 28th in NFL, Rushing: 2192yrds, 12TD’s 5 FUM): The defense this season started out looking like one of the best in the NFL. Between the Cardinals, Seahawks and 49ers the NFC West had cornered the market on defense in the NFL. But then things started falling apart for the Cardinals as the 49ers and Seahawks began to take off. The Cardinals were one of the best teams in the league against the pass and they proved that finishing 5th in total passing yards allowed. But against the run it was a totally different story after the 1st four game the Cardinals front 7 became almost nonexistent against the run as team after team ran all over them. If they don’t improve this next year life isn’t going to be much different from this year. So I am expecting them to address this in the draft….
